Pepperoni Pizza Monkey Bread

How do you make bread even better? You stuff it with pepperoni and cheese. Then, you bake it in a bundt pan that allows you to pull off little chunks and dip them in pizza sauce. This is the perfect thing to bring to a party (and I did, where it disappeared quickly!) or to eat during a football game. Or, make it for dinner and serve with a salad. It’s basically pizza, heavy on the crust…right?!

FAKT hovers an undulating aluminium cloudscape within a french courtyard

during the 2015 edition of the lively architecture festival, FAKT has realized an aluminium cloudscape that seems to weightlessly hover within a provincial courtyard in montpellier. the berlin and zurich-based studio have conceived ‘#034′ as a spatial and structural experiment — two sheets of 2mm thick aluminum undulates inside the semi-outdoor space, spanning a distance of 6.4 meters long by 4.5 meters wide. the two paper-like layers subtly bend, crinkle and wrinkle in juxtaposition with each other, creating apertures that allow visitors to peer through the installation to the other side of the courtyard.

House in Miramar

It is a building consisting of two distinct adjacent and interrelated volumes, the housing itself – consisting of two storeys plus a penthouse – and a garage. Although the volume, apparently, is being treated as a solid monolith, it is fully traversed, with vertical and horizontal voids, with the purpose of creating strong visual relations with its contiguous exterior spaces, and allowing the light to enter through the entire house. On the ground floor are the social and service areas, plus, in the northwest, there is a ‘body’ attached, to be used as a garage. The entire floor is opened, from north to south, allowing social spaces relate frankly to their outdoor spaces of natural expansion.

Denver craft beer: Brews and brew events you don’t want to miss

YOU’RE LEANING BACK in a brewpub patio chair on a cool summer evening, beer in hand. Blue skies fade into the sunset behind the mountains in the distance. You wrap up a good-natured debate with the umpteenth local beer aficionado you’ve met today, concerning the merits and drawbacks of different types of hops, and go to close your tab. Your phone finds its way into your hands and pulls up the next brewery on your itinerary. Your thumbs instinctively begin to summon Uber, until your brain interjects: It’s within walking distance. Again.
